Per account, per month
Deposits, withdrawals, deposit count, average daily balance, NSFs, negative days and ending balance for each account and month.
Totals, averages, trend
Monthly averages across the lookback, a combined view across accounts, and the revenue trend month over month.
Processor statements too
Card-processor volume sits next to bank deposits for split-funded and card-heavy merchants.
Affordability check
Existing positions plus a proposed payment against true revenue, graded against the green, amber and red thresholds you set.
Feeds matching
The same figures drive lender matching, so the shortlist always reflects the latest statements.
What goes in
Funders decide most deals on cash flow, so the deal holds the figures they ask for. For each bank account and each month you record total deposits, withdrawals, the number of deposits, the average daily balance, the number of NSFs, the negative days and the ending balance.
Merchants with several accounts get one grid per account and a combined view. Card-processor statements are kept separately with their monthly volume, so a split-funded deal shows both sides.
Entered by hand today
The figures are typed in from the statements on the deal today. Automatic parsing of statement PDFs is coming soon, and it will fill the same grid for you to check.
What comes out
- Monthly averages for deposits, ADB, deposit count, NSFs and negative days across the months entered.
- The revenue trend: whether deposits are rising or falling across the lookback.
- Monthly true revenue, the figure matching and holdback use.
- Totals and averages per account and for all accounts together.
True revenue means deposits without transfers between the merchant's own accounts, loan or advance proceeds and other money that is not sales. Getting that number right is the processor's job; the grid gives it one place to live.
Positions and affordability
Existing positions are recorded on the merchant with the lender, the payment, the frequency and an estimated balance. Their monthly total divided by true revenue is the merchant's current holdback. Add a proposed payment from the offer calculator and you get the combined holdback.
current holdback % = existing monthly payments / monthly true revenue x 100 combined holdback % = (existing monthly payments + new monthly payment) / monthly true revenue x 100
Your shop sets the bands. By default under 15% is green, 15% to 25% amber and over 25% red. Try the numbers yourself with the free stacking calculator.
Why it lives on the deal
Lender rules on revenue, ADB, NSFs, negative days and trend read straight from these figures. Change a month and lender matching re-runs, so the shortlist never lags behind the statements. Lenders that require a number of statements can check bank statements on file as well.
Questions
Does it read PDF statements automatically?
Not yet. AI parsing of statement PDFs is coming soon. Today the monthly figures are entered by hand from the statements on the deal.
Can a merchant have more than one bank account?
Yes. Each account has its own monthly grid, and a combined view adds them up.
Can I change the affordability thresholds?
Yes. The green, amber and red bands and the business days per month are organization settings.
Where do the statements come from?
Upload them to the deal, or have the merchant attach them on your public application form, which takes three to six statements.
