Expected versus received
Funding a deal creates its expected commissions; mark each one received with the date and amount.
Splits to reps and partners
Default split settings per rep and partner, applied to every commission, with payouts you mark paid.
Clawbacks and disputes
Record a clawback when a lender recoups, open a dispute when a payment is short, and resolve it on the record.
Statement reconciliation
Upload a lender's commission statement CSV, auto-match lines to funded deals, confirm, assign or ignore.
Types that match reality
Base, upsell, renewal, fee and clawback commissions, each tracked separately.
Every funded deal creates what you are owed
When you mark a deal funded, the CRM creates the funded deal and its expected commissions from the accepted offer: base commission on the agreed basis, plus upsell points between buy rate and sell rate. Each commission has a status: expected, received, disputed, clawed back or void.
Commission types keep the report honest: base, upsell, renewal, fee and clawback are separate lines, so you can see how much of the month came from renewals.
Splits and payouts
Most shops pay reps a share of every deal they close and pay referral partners or sub-ISOs a share of the deals they send. Split settings hold each rep's default share, and every commission is split accordingly. The payouts screen lists what each person is owed and lets you mark it paid.
Calculate a split before you agree it with the free ISO commission calculator.
Reconciling a lender's statement
Commission disputes are the most common friction between ISOs and funders, and most of them start with nobody checking the statement. Upload the lender's commission statement as a CSV, optionally tied to that lender. Each line is matched to a funded deal, and suggested matches can be confirmed together.
- Upload the CSV and pick the lender.
- Review the suggested matches and confirm them in one step.
- Assign unmatched lines to the right funded deal by hand, or ignore lines that are not yours.
- Short or missing payments stand out, so you can open a dispute with the lender.
Clawbacks
If a merchant defaults within the lender's clawback window, the lender takes the commission back. Record it on the funded deal and it reduces what you received and, through the split, what each person is owed. The servicing status on the funded deal shows why.
Questions
What file format do commission statements need?
A CSV file up to 5 MB. Lines are matched to funded deals; anything unmatched can be assigned by hand.
Can I split a commission between several people?
Yes. Splits go to reps and partners, with defaults per person and a payout list showing what is owed.
Who can change commissions?
Changing money state needs the commissions manage permission. Everything else is read-only to the rest of the team.
Can I track renewal commissions separately?
Yes. Renewal is its own commission type.
