Brokers and consultants who refer businesses to invoice factoring and accounts receivable lenders, often alongside other working capital products.
Factors as lenders
Keep every factor with its programs, contacts, submission email and criteria, tagged as factoring.
Screening on what factors ask
Time in business, industry, state, entity type, amount and revenue rules checked against each prospect.
Submissions and approvals tracked
One package per factor with templates and documents, and a status per factor with decline reasons.
Recurring commissions
Record each commission payment against the funded facility, with splits to partners.
Who this page is for
This is for brokers who find the client and place the facility. It is not accounts receivable software for the factor itself. A factor needs invoice-level tools (aging, verification, schedules of accounts, reserve releases), and we do not build those.
Not for factors' back offices
If you are the factor buying invoices, you need factoring operations software for purchases, collections and reserves. Use this CRM for your sales and ISO side only.
How a factoring deal flows
A factoring prospect is usually a B2B business with slow-paying customers: trucking, staffing, manufacturing, wholesale. The broker collects the application, an AR aging report, a customer list and sample invoices, then sends them to factors that take that industry and size. Store each of those as a typed document on the deal, with stips for what is missing.
Factor criteria such as minimum monthly volume, industries they avoid, states and time in business go on each factor's program. Lender matching uses the requested amount, revenue, industry and state from the deal. Debtor credit quality and concentration are not matching metrics; note them in custom fields or the underwriting notes.
Recording the approval
Factoring terms (advance rate, discount fee, reserve, recourse) differ from advance and loan terms. Record the facility size as the amount and put the advance rate and fee schedule in the offer notes or custom fields, so the comparison across factors stays on one deal.
Commissions that keep coming
Factoring referrals are often paid as a share of the factor's fees for as long as the client factors. Commission tracking lets you record each payment as it arrives against the funded facility, split it with partners, and upload a factor's commission statement to match lines to clients.
Is it a fit?
A good fit when
- Brokers and consultants placing factoring and AR facilities with several factors
- Working capital brokers who offer factoring next to lines of credit and MCA
- Shops that receive recurring residual commissions and need to reconcile them
- Teams that refer clients in trucking, staffing and other B2B industries
Not the right tool (yet) when
- Invoice-level AR management for factors (aging, verification, schedules of accounts, reserves); not planned
- Debtor credit checks
- Built-in factoring pricing math (advance rate and discount fee go in notes or custom fields)
Questions
Can a factoring company use this to manage purchased invoices?
No. We handle the sales and broker side: prospects, factor criteria, submissions, approvals and commissions. Purchasing, verifying and collecting invoices needs factoring operations software.
Can I tag lenders as factors?
Yes. Factoring is one of the lender types, alongside MCA, loan, line of credit, SBA and equipment.
How do I track recurring commissions?
Record each payment against the funded facility as it arrives, or upload the factor's commission statement CSV and match the lines.
Can I keep AR aging reports on the deal?
Yes, as documents on the deal. They are stored privately and only downloaded through the app by users with access.
