Brokers, referral agents and packagers who place SBA 7(a), 504 and express loans alongside conventional and revenue-based products.
Stips that do not get lost
Request documents by type, mark them received, verified or rejected, and see exactly what each lender is still waiting on.
Tasks for every follow-up
Due-dated tasks and an activity timeline keep weeks-long files moving without a separate to-do app.
SBA and non-SBA lenders side by side
Tag lender programs as SBA, loan, line of credit or MCA and match the same deal against all of them.
Time in status on every deal
The board shows how long each deal has sat in its status, so stalled files stand out.
Built for long files
An SBA loan can take weeks to months between application and funding, with tax returns, personal financial statements, debt schedules, business plans and projections passing back and forth. The deal record keeps the documents with a type, status and history, and stips show what has been requested and what is outstanding.
Every card on the board shows time in status, and owners can set automatic conditions that every new deal starts with. Tasks with due dates (call the lender, chase the 4506-C, update the debt schedule) sit on the deal and on each rep's task list.
Screening before you package
Most SBA lenders publish minimums for credit score, time in business and revenue, and some exclude industries or states. Put those rules on each lender's SBA program and lender matching tells you which lenders the file fits before you spend hours packaging it. Rules marked soft warn instead of disqualify, which suits the judgement calls SBA lending involves.
Lender-specific requirements that are not built-in metrics, such as collateral or equity injection, can live in custom fields on the deal.
Keeping the client funded in the meantime
Business owners waiting on an SBA loan often need working capital now. Because the same CRM handles lines of credit and merchant cash advances, you can place a short-term product as a separate deal on the same merchant, and the timeline shows both. Be sure the client understands how the short-term payment affects the SBA lender's debt service review.
Getting paid on SBA referrals
Referral and packaging fees on SBA loans are paid by the lender or the borrower depending on the arrangement, and they arrive weeks after closing. Commission tracking records the expected amount when the deal funds, the date it is received, and any split with a referral partner. Check SBA rules on agent fees and the required disclosure forms with the lender before you agree a fee.
Is it a fit?
A good fit when
- Brokers and packagers running SBA files alongside conventional and revenue-based deals
- Teams that live on document checklists and follow-up tasks
- Shops that want to see stalled files by time in status
- Brokers tracking referral fees and partner splits
Not the right tool (yet) when
- SBA E-Tran or SBSS score integration (not built)
- Generating SBA forms or packaging templates
- Amortization schedules on offers (use the free business loan payment calculator)
- E-sign (coming soon)
Questions
Does it connect to SBA E-Tran?
No. The CRM tracks the file, documents, lenders and status. Lenders submit to SBA through their own systems.
Can I track SBA-specific fields like collateral or equity injection?
Yes, as custom fields on the deal or merchant. They are stored and exported, but they are not lender matching metrics.
Can I see what documents are still missing?
Yes. Stips list every requested document with its status, and the deal's document list shows what was received, verified or rejected.
Can I also place lines of credit and MCA?
Yes. Lenders and programs are tagged by product, so SBA, term loan, line of credit and MCA deals share one pipeline.
