Stips
Stips (stipulations) are the documents or conditions a funder requires before or after approval: bank statements, ID, a voided check, payoff letters and so on.
Also called stipulations, funding stips, conditions
A standard MCA package asks for the signed application, three to six months of bank statements, a month-to-date statement, the owner's photo ID and a voided check or bank letter. Larger deals add tax returns, proof of ownership or a lease, and card-processor statements on split deals.
After an approval the funder may add final stips, such as a fresh bank login or updated statements, before funding. Track every stip per deal and per funder with a status (requested, received, verified, rejected) so nothing stalls a deal at the last step.
