Why it matters
The organization profile is what lenders see at the top of every submission and what goes on exports. The deal math defaults drive the offer previews, the affordability warning and when a funded merchant shows up as ready to renew. Getting them right once saves every rep from doing the math in their head.
Owner only
Only the account owner can change these settings. Everyone else sees the page read-only with a note saying so.
Step by step
- 1Open Settings → Organization (or Organization settings from your account menu at the bottom of the sidebar).
- 2Under Company, fill in Display name (required), and the optional Legal name, Phone, Email and Website. Use the name lenders know you by as the display name.
- 3Pick your Time zone. US zones are listed first.
- 4Under Team visibility, decide whether Agents can see every lead and deal. See Record visibility.
- 5Under Deal math defaults, check the four numbers below.
- 6Click Save changes.
The deal math defaults
| Field | What it means | Starting value |
|---|---|---|
| Business days per month | How many daily debits make a month when the CRM converts a daily payment to a monthly one. A lender can override it on its own page. | 21 |
| Renewal eligible at | The percent of payback collected at which a funded merchant counts as ready to renew. A lender's own threshold, or the deal's, wins over this. | 50% |
| Affordability amber at | Combined holdback, as a percent of monthly revenue, at which the affordability check turns amber. | 15% |
| Affordability red above | The percent above which it turns red. | 25% |
A worked example. A restaurant deposits $60,000 a month. Its existing advance takes $6,000 a month, and a new offer would debit $200 a day.
New offer per month = $200 × 21 business days = $4,200 Existing positions = $6,000 ÷ $60,000 = 10% New offer = $4,200 ÷ $60,000 = 7% Combined holdback = 10% + 7% = 17% → amber (between 15% and 25%)
If most of your lenders count 22 business days, or your shop treats anything over 20% as a hard stop, change the defaults now so every preview matches what the team actually uses.
Your merchant application link
Below the form, the Merchant application card gives you three things to share. Applications sent through them arrive as new leads from the source Web application, with the signed consent and bank statements attached.
- Application link: goes to your organization; each new application creates a follow-up task for the first owner.
- Your referral link: the same form, but applications are assigned to you and you get the task. Every user has their own, so give reps theirs for their email signature.
- Embed on your website: Copy code gives an iframe snippet for your site's apply page.
Common mistakes
- Leaving the display name as a placeholder. It goes out on the first submission.
- Changing the renewal threshold without telling the team. The Renewals list changes overnight and reps wonder why merchants moved.
- Sharing the organization application link with reps instead of their own referral links, so every web lead lands on the owner's desk.
