Why it matters
Each person's role decides what they see and change, and their own sign-in is what puts their name on notes, stage changes and sensitive-value reveals. Shared logins make the history meaningless, so one person, one user.
Invite a teammate (they set their own password)
- 1Open Settings → Users & invites and click Invite.
- 2In Invite a teammate, enter their Email and pick a Role. The line under the picker says what that role can do.
- 3Click Create invite.
- 4In Invite link ready, click Copy and send the link to them yourself by email, text or chat. The app does not send the email for you.
- 5They open the link, choose their name and a password, and they are in.
Links expire after 7 days. Unused ones are listed under Pending invitations, where you can copy a link again or revoke it with the bin icon. An expired invite shows an Expired badge: revoke it and create a new one.
Or add a user with a password
- 1Click Add user.
- 2Fill in Full name, Email, Role and a Password of at least 10 characters.
- 3Click Add user and give them the password privately.
- 4Ask them to change it under Settings → Profile after their first sign-in. The app does not force this for users you add yourself.
Invites are the better default: the password never passes through you.
Change a role, reset a password, deactivate
Every row has a menu at the right. Edit or reset password changes the name, email or role, and sets a new password if you fill in New password (leave it blank to keep theirs). Deactivate signs the person out and stops them signing in again; their records stay assigned to them. Reactivate brings them back.
The list shows each person's Role, Status, Last sign-in and when they were Added, and you can search it. A teammate who has never signed in shows Never, which is a good prompt to resend their invite.
When someone leaves
Deactivate them the same day, then reassign their open leads and deals. Deactivating does not move anything, so until you reassign, their files have no active owner and agents who only see their own records will not see them.
Who can do it
Owners and managers can invite, add, edit and deactivate users. Only an owner can make someone an owner. Nobody can deactivate themselves.
