Send from your Gmail
Connect your own Gmail or Google Workspace address so lender packages and emails go out from it, land in your Sent folder and get replies in your inbox.
Lenders know your email address. Connect it once and every package and email you send from a deal goes out from that address, with a copy in your Gmail Sent folder, and lenders reply straight to your inbox.
Connect your Gmail
- 1Open Integrations → Email (or click Connect Gmail at the top of Integrations).
- 2Click Connect Gmail and sign in with the Google account you send from. It works with gmail.com and company Google Workspace accounts.
- 3Google asks to let the app send email on your behalf. Click Allow.
- 4Back in the app, click Send test email and check that it arrived.
Sending
In Submit to lenders, the From field starts on your Gmail address, and Send all from Gmail sends each lender its own email from it, with the files attached. The deal's Email button uses it too. You can still pick the app as the sender for any send. Gmail takes up to 25 MB of attachments per email; a bigger package is stopped before anything is sent so you can untick some files.
What the app can and cannot do
- It can only send the emails you send from the app. It cannot read, search, change or delete your mail.
- Only you can send from your address. Teammates, owners and our staff cannot use it.
- Disconnect removes the access at once, here and at Google.
If your company's Google Workspace blocks apps it has not approved, a Workspace admin allows the app once in the Google Admin console: Security → Access and data control → API controls → Manage third-party app access, add the app and mark it Trusted. Outlook and Microsoft 365 are Coming soon.
If it says Needs reconnecting
Google stops the access when you change your password, remove the app from your Google account or an admin blocks it. You get an email and the card says Needs reconnecting: click Reconnect and sign in again. Until then you can still send from the app under your name by choosing it as the From address.
