Turn a lead into a deal
Create the merchant, its owner and a new deal from a lead in one step, or add the deal to a merchant you already have.
Updated Owners, managers and agents.
- 1Open the lead and click Convert to deal.
- 2Choose Create a new merchant, or Add to an existing merchant and search for it. When adding to an existing merchant, tick Fill the merchant's empty fields from this lead to copy over details the merchant is missing.
- 3Check the merchant, owner and deal details (deal type, requested amount, use of funds, deal owner). They are prefilled from the lead.
- 4Click Create merchant & deal (or Add deal to merchant).
The lead is marked Converted and links to the new deal. The deal starts in the first stage of your pipeline, and you can move it through the stages from the deal page or the board.
On the deal
A deal page has tabs for Overview, Documents & stips, Bank statements, Underwriting, Lenders, Activity and Tasks (plus Funded once it funds). Upload the application and statements under Documents & stips, enter the monthly figures under Bank statements, and the Lenders tab will show which lenders the deal qualifies for.
