Set up your lenders

Add the lenders you work with, their submission details and commission terms, their programs and products, the criteria that decide which deals they take, and what each one requires.

Updated Owners and managers (agents and processors can view lenders).

Go to Lenders. Click New lender to add one, or Import lenders from CSV to load your list from a spreadsheet.

Lender details

  • Submission email (and CC addresses) where packages go, plus a Subject format if the lender wants a specific subject line, for example {dba} - Ask {amount} - {iso}.
  • Contacts: the reps and underwriters you deal with there.
  • ISO agreement & commission: whether the agreement is signed, the default commission, payout speed and the clawback window in days.
  • ISO portal link and notes.
  • Main product: the product the lender mostly funds (MCA, SBA 7(a), line of credit, term loan, equipment finance and so on), or mixed. New programs start with it.

Programs

A lender can have several programs (for example, an A-paper program and a B-paper program, or an SBA 7(a) program next to a line of credit). Click Add program, pick its Product, and set the minimum and maximum amount, Max × monthly revenue, factor, term and commission ranges, the paper grade, and whether it is active. A deal is only matched against programs of its own product.

Criteria

Criteria decide which deals a lender takes. Start with the quick form: Restricted states, Restricted industries, Sole proprietors OK and Home-based OK. Then add rules for anything else, such as minimum monthly revenue, time in business, credit score, maximum positions, average daily balance or negative days.

Each rule has a Severity:

  • Hard rules disqualify a deal that fails them.
  • Soft rules warn and lower the match score, but the lender stays eligible.
  • Info rules are shown for reference only.

Use Only apply when… to make a rule conditional, for example a higher revenue minimum only for certain industries.

Requirements

On the lender's Requirements & connector tab, list what the lender needs before it will look at a file, per product or per program: the application fields (picked from the same fields as the deal's Application tab) and the documents, with how many of each. Click Start from the product baseline to begin with the usual package, then trim or add. Put the fields in the order the lender's portal asks for them: the portal assist kit follows that order. Every save is a new version; History lists them and Reset goes back to the baseline.

How deals reach the lender

The same tab sets the lender's connector. Email sends the package by email. Portal assist is for lenders you submit to on their own website: the submission builds a copy kit instead of an email. API connectors send deals straight into a lender that gives you API access; they come with the API access add-on, and the first one (Credibly) is not live yet because it needs the lender's partner documentation.
